OBJECTIVES
- Improve governance in Public Enterprises (Commercial Corporations, Government Owned Companies and Statutory Boards).
- Ensure efficiency and economy in the utilization of resources of Public Enterprises for effective achievement of goals and objectives.
- Develop and issue guidelines on financial management, accounting policies and operational issues relating to Public Enterprises with a view to enforce financial discipline and monitor for compliance.
- Enforcement of provisions of Part II of the Finance Act No. 38 of 1971.
