(i) To provide assistance to the public assets management and Public Accounts Committee with a view to promoting proper administration including formulation of systems, procedures, development, revision and follow up action in respect of public finance management.
(ii) Formation of necessary guidelines for the utilization of public finance resources in an effective and productive manner.
(iii) To find out the possibility of generating non-tax revenue by revision and administration of current departmental charges and fees and utilizing them in cost productive manner.
(iv) Rationalization, review and monitoring of departmental funds to ensure the effective utilization of public finance through transparency and accountability.
