(i) Formulate, develop, review, and monitor the systems and procedures in the Public Financial Management including management of public assets to promote good governance and assist the committee on Public Accounts.
(ii) Formulate the necessary guidelines for effective and efficient utilization of public financial resources.
(iii) Review and monitor effective use of the existing departmental fees and charges and explore the possibility of generating non – tax revenue in costs effective manner.
(iv) Regularize, review and monitor the Ministerial / Departmental funds to ensure effective and efficient utilization of public funds with accountability and transparency.
