Mr. Jude Nilukshan

Jude Nilukshan is a Sri Lanka Administrative Service Officer, schooled at HolyCrossCollege, Kalutara. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in BSc Management (Public Administration) from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and a Master’s in International Trade and Economic Cooperation from the Kyung Hee University in South Korea.

After joining to Sri Lanka Administrative Service in 2000, he started his public service career as an Assistant Secretary at the Ministry of Finance. He joined the General Treasury in 2001 and worked as an Assistant/ Deputy Director and a Director at the National Budget Department. During 2011 to 2013 he had attached to Sri Lanka Customs and holding posts including Director of Customs & Director Excise Tax.

Nilukshan, was previously a Senior Assistant Secretary at Office of the Cabinet of Ministers and continues its duties during 2015 to 2019.

He has received training and exposure in related to Budgeting & Financial Management from reputed local and International Institutions/Universities. He has been a member of delegation representing Sri Lanka on several occasions.

He has also been a Director Board member/ Treasury representative of several statutory institutions including ITN, SPMC, NBRO, PSMPA, National Botanical Gardens Trust Fund, Marine Environmental Protection Authority, Sri Lanka Youth Crops and Local Loans Development Board.
