Responsibilities

MAJOR FUNCTIONS

1. Management of Treasury Cash Flows.

2. Facilitation in arrangement of Domestic and Foreign Commercial Borrowings.

3. Disbursement of Treasury Funds through the payment system.

4. Assessment, prioritization and release of funds to spending agencies.

5. Issuance of Treasury Guarantees.

6. Maintenance of fund flows relating to the on-lending programs of the Government.

7. Estimation, Collection and Accounting of Non-Tax Revenue under 12 Revenue heads.

8. Facilitation for disbursement of funds under Foreign Aid Loans and Grants.

9. Accounting of Government borrowings and debt repayments.

10. Authorization and Supervision of Government bank accounts and imprest accounts.

11. Facilitation of Accounting of Foreign-Aid Projects.
