Mrs. Renuka Colombage is a Class one Officer in the Sri Lanka Accountancy Service (SLAcS) with about 27 years experience in public service. During her tenure, she has served in executive-level positions in the Department of Post and Department of Agrarian Development. Before, appointed to the present post of Director General, she has served as a Director at the Department of Management Audit.

Mrs. Renuka Colombage has gained her first degree in Public Administration (Special) from University of Sri Jayewardenepura and has Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. She has also obtained Postgraduate degree in Economics from the University of Kelaniya.
